Current openings:
- Elementary Special Education Teacher: Requires Level 3 MN Special Education Licensure; work in a dedicated elementary classroom.
- Middle School Special Education Teacher: Requires Level 3 MN Special Education Licensure; engage with students in a middle school setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Level 3 Minnesota Special Education Licensure is required
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher with elementary or middle school students strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to diverse learning needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable partnering with faculty, support staff, parents, and administrators
- A passion for fostering inclusion and supporting exceptional learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP, ensuring academic and social-emotional progress
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and monitor student achievements
- Communicate regularly with families, participating in team meetings and progress reviews
- Adapt lessons and classroom environments to meet individual student needs
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture conducive to learning
