Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)—please ensure your certification and resume are attached for consideration
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary resource setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials to meet individual learning needs
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support to students with disabilities in accordance with their IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents/guardians on student goals and progress
- Develop and adapt instructional materials, strategies, and resources to accommodate diverse learners
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data on student progress and compliance requirements
- Participate in team meetings, staff professional development, and ongoing case management duties
