Qualifications:
- MD Special Education License with High School Endorsement required
- Experience with alternate curriculum and vocational training preferred
- Ability to support learning, communication, and behavioral needs
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Teach ELA, Math, and Vocational subjects using alternate curriculum
- Manage and adapt instruction for a self-contained classroom
- Collaborate with 2-3 dedicated paraprofessionals
- Implement individualized education plans focusing on academic and functional goals
- Communicate regularly with families and support staff
