Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience or training in Mild/Moderate SDC environments
- Strong commitment to individualized education and inclusion
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet IEP goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with mild/moderate needs in a dedicated SDC classroom
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Use evidence-based strategies to support academic, social, and emotional growth
- Maintain clear, open communication with parents and staff
