Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California mild/moderate Education Specialist Credential is required (please prepare a screenshot of your CTC documentation)
- Previous experience as a special education teacher at the elementary level strongly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality resource instruction and interventions to elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring compliance and robust documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate records, evaluate student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports each student’s strengths and areas for growth
