Special Education Teacher - Fall River, Massachusetts

Exciting opportunities are available for Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill both Inclusion and Sub Separate K-12 positions (including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional classrooms). The current priority is to hire teachers for Sub Separate classrooms, where you will be supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals as well as an experienced multidisciplinary team, including supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (applicable for K-12)
- Prior experience working in special education settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Comfortable collaborating with a team of support professionals
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Flexibility in working with diverse student populations and adapting to a variety of educational settings
Position Responsibilities:
- Instruct and support students with a wide range of disabilities in inclusive and sub separate environments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Engage with paraprofessionals and collaborate with BCBAs, Social Workers, and supervisors to maximize student outcomes
- Foster a supportive and structured classroom community
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and school-based team conferences
- Provide ongoing communication with families and caregivers to ensure strong partnerships
