Working full time (37.5 hours per week), you will have the opportunity to create positive learning experiences for a caseload of 28 or fewer students. While this role is primarily on-site, there may be potential for a virtual (VOCO) arrangement for the right candidate, offering added flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential recognized in California
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of best practices in inclusive education
- Comfortable utilizing technology for instruction or reporting, as needed
- Open to both on-site and virtual work arrangements as required
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs
- Adapt curriculum and modify lessons to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate regularly with other educators, families, and specialists
- Maintain accurate records, including IEP documentation and progress reports
