Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education (282) Teaching License required
- Background in resource-style classrooms or experience with 1:1 case management preferred
- Commitment to full-time hours (35–40 per week)
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with general educators, therapists, and support personnel
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, complying with district and state requirements
