Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
- ELA certification required
- Current IVP Fingerprint clearance card a must
- Prior experience teaching at the high school level preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized learning plans
- Resourcefulness and dedication to supporting special education students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ELA instruction and specialized academic support to high school students in a resource room setting
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to individual learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor and support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, IEP documentation, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
