- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify and deliver instructional material to accommodate various learning needs within the resource classroom
- Facilitate small group and individualized instruction for students with disabilities
- Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of effective support plans
- Create a classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
