Special Education Teacher in Haysville, KS

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid low-incidence special education license (must be presented up front)
- Demonstrated experience working with students identified with significant disabilities
- Willingness and ability to instruct exclusively in-person (no virtual instruction)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to individualized education and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for your caseload
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
- Foster a positive, structured, supportive learning environment
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust strategies as needed
- Employ evidence-based practices for low-incidence and mixed-abilities classrooms
This contract begins in August 2026 and extends through May 2027, with flexible full-time scheduling between 35-40 hours per week.
