Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Low-Incidence Special Education teaching license (must be current and available for submission before consideration)
- Experience working with students who have significant disabilities preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families for student-centered planning
- Ability to commit to in-person instruction throughout the contract; no virtual or hybrid teaching options
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage documentation and individualized education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans addressing each student’s needs, in alignment with IEP goals
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes growth, safety, and success for all students
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and administration to deliver holistic support
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies and documentation as needed
- Foster strong, supportive relationships with families to ensure student engagement and consistent growth
