Step into a dynamic Special Education opportunity that makes a real difference for students. Two contract Special Education Teacher positions are available, covering maternity leaves in a supportive school environment near Sunnyvale, CA.
Option 1 runs from January 11, 2027, through June 10, 2027, focusing on 6th grade Resource Specialist Program (RSP) students. You'll engage with 20 learners, emphasizing English Language Arts, managing all IEP documentation, and delivering tailored academic instruction.
Option 2 spans March 1, 2027, to June 10, 2027, centering on a self-contained K-5 classroom (currently grades 3-5) with two experienced paraeducators providing solid teamwork and daily support. Both roles require a Mild to Moderate Credential in Special Education.

What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Mild to Moderate Special Education Certification (California)
- Experience with IEP case management and academic instruction
- Skilled at differentiation and support for diverse learners
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Comfortable with contract assignments and specified coverage dates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Deliver engaging academic instruction tailored to student needs
- Maintain regular communication with parents and team members
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture
