- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Strong background in special education best practices

- Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and modify specially designed instruction for assigned students
- Assess student strengths, progress, and educational needs
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in compliance with regulations
- Track and document student progress towards goals
- Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners
- Communicate regularly with caregivers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
