Bring your passion for special education to one of several available settings:
- Center-Based ASD/DCD classrooms at Birch Grove, Rice Lake, and Zanewood Elementary (ASD or DCD endorsement required)
- Center-Based SEL classroom at Cedar Island Elementary (EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsement accepted)
- Resource classrooms at Fair Oaks, Birch Grove, and Basswood Elementary (all endorsements accepted: ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD)
Key details:
- Contract runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027
- Full-time at 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education license required
- Must hold appropriate endorsement(s): ASD, DCD, EBD, or ABS as relevant to the position
- At least two years of dedicated special education teaching experience (general education, paraprofessional, or substitute experience does not apply)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Foster inclusive, supportive environments for students with varying abilities
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
- Employ data-driven interventions to support academic and behavioral growth
