Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience working with mild to moderate caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create a positive learning environment and adapt lessons to diverse learners
- Flexibility to adjust to both onsite and possible virtual (VOCO) teaching formats
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach and support a caseload of up to 28 students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and families for student success
- Track progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom community
