Special Education Teacher in Irvine, CA

This full-time role runs from August 20, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week (8 hours/day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll be working with one dedicated caseload and will need an active CTC licensure to qualify.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active CTC license in Special Education (required)
- Experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to intermediate mild/moderate caseload
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs in line with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates
- Create a positive, respectful classroom climate where all learners can thrive
