Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for the appropriate grade level
- Previous experience teaching in an elementary special education environment highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with compliance requirements
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to a variety of learning styles
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, small group, and whole-class instruction in the IRR setting
- Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are met
- Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom community where all learners can succeed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
