Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support academic, social, behavioral, and functional skill development
- Develop and implement individualized learning strategies
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Maintain compliance with special education documentation and reporting requirements
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management practices
Qualifications
- Required
- Active Kansas Special Education Teaching License
- Appropriate Kansas licensure for the grade level being served
- License must be active and available prior to candidate submission
Preferred
- Experience working in Life Skills, Autism, or Behavioral Support programs
- Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
