Qualifications:
- Active Special Education GaPSC Certification with SPED content through 8th grade
- Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required (district may consider candidates with pending credentials)
- Experience in self-contained or functional classroom settings preferred
- Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction using a functional curriculum
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and the RBT to foster student growth
- Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs based on student progress
- Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of student needs and abilities
