What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification (emergency certification considered)
- Experience or strong interest in working with 4th and 5th grade students
- Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations
- Commitment to collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure student growth and success
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide push-in special education support for 4th and 5th grade classrooms
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams
- Employ evidence-based instructional strategies to promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress
