Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification
- Candidates with an Emergency Special Education Certification will be considered
- Experience working in an elementary school environment, especially with grades 4-5
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, behavior management, and IEP process
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Passion for creating accessible and inclusive classroom communities
Key Duties:
- Provide push-in support and differentiated instruction for students in 4th and 5th grade classrooms
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to monitor and report on student progress
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Employ creative strategies to engage diverse learners and address individual needs
