Your schedule will run Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, which allows an excellent work-life balance while making a difference each day. All instruction will be delivered in person, offering genuine connections with students and colleagues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid ME teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Previous experience working with high school students is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized instructional plans
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct special education instruction to high school students as part of the ESY program
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to address student needs
- Track progress and maintain accurate student records
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
