Special Education Teacher - Longmont, CO

Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Colorado Special Education Certificate (required).
- Previous experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred.
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Positive, adaptable attitude with a focus on student growth and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a SPED Case Manager, providing direct instruction, support, and advocacy for students with IEPs.
- Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, families, and service providers to promote student success.
- Collect and analyze progress data to guide instructional decisions and comply with IEP benchmarks.
- Maintain detailed and timely records and documentation as required by the district and state.
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment that nurtures all learners.
- Participate in school meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development.
