Special Education Teacher | Longmont, Colorado

Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Certificate (required)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager strongly preferred
- Comfort working with middle school and/or high school students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning spaces
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative special education services to assigned students in accordance with IEPs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and staff about student progress and needs
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual learning styles and goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support effective classroom inclusion
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment where all students feel valued
