What You'll Need:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Proven experience with elementary RSP caseloads (TK-8th preferred)
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt lesson plans for diverse student abilities
- Positive attitude and dedication to student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions according to IEP goals for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning opportunities
- Maintain accurate and timely records, assessments, and IEP documentation
- Support students in both pull-out and push-in settings, adjusting strategies as needs evolve
- Communicate regularly with families to celebrate progress and discuss developmental goals
