Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Proven background in special education services within an elementary school setting
- Ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and organization skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, families, and external partners
- Skilled in adapting teaching methods and creative instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Professionalism and commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver resource services to a defined caseload of elementary learners
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs compliant with district and state standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers for student integration and accommodations
- Communicate progress and strategies with parents, staff, and administrators
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for all assigned students
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and relevant school events
- Foster an engaging, positive learning environment that encourages growth and self-advocacy
