Key Qualifications:
- Valid EMD License required
- Experience in Special Education teaching preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse learners in high school or elementary settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Role Highlights:
- Contracted full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Serve in either a high school classroom (12 students) or elementary classroom (6 students), with the elementary class supported by 2 additional assistants
- Deliver high-quality instruction to students with varying abilities
- Develop and monitor educational plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with classroom assistants, fellow teachers, and families to ensure continuity and consistency in learning
- Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment
- Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
