Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized lessons meeting students’ unique learning needs
- Assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
- Develop and maintain IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
- Engage with families to ensure clear communication and promote student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate records and reports regarding student performance
- Support a positive learning atmosphere and promote student independence
