As a full-time Special Education Teacher, you’ll utilize your expertise to develop and implement individualized educational programs and foster an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive. Your ability to offer both push-in and pull-out services will ensure that all students, regardless of ability, receive instruction and support tailored to their unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 special education teaching license
- Experience working with K-4 students
- Strong knowledge of individualized instruction, differentiated teaching strategies, and IEP development
- Ability to deliver both push-in and pull-out services
- Passionate about fostering student growth and building positive relationships
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with a range of abilities
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction in both inclusive and resource settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Create a supportive, encouraging classroom climate that supports independence and self-advocacy
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and feedback
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
