Take your Special Education teaching expertise to a vibrant, close-knit school community near Minneapolis, MN! We’re seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers—one for an Elementary Setting III classroom, and another for Middle School—for exciting contract roles beginning September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM and contributing 38.75 hours per week.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification; Tier 3 or 4 license strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students with a variety of special needs in Elementary or Middle School settings
- Strong understanding of IEP creation, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative spirit with an eagerness to work alongside teachers, administrators, specialists, and families
- Compassion, flexibility, and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored instructional plans meeting individual student needs
- Maintain accurate records, track progress, and report regularly on IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and modify teaching strategies to promote student engagement and growth
- Partner with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion and differentiated instruction
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding academic and behavioral progress
- Support a positive school culture through collaboration and a student-centered approach
