Qualifications:
- Special Education Teacher certification (preferred ECSE or Early Childhood licensure)
- Experience, or strong interest, in early childhood and/or special education settings
- Understanding of developing and implementing IEPs for young learners
- Skilled in conducting developmental assessments and observations
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); track student progress closely
- Embed intervention services through structured play in small, supportive groups
- Conduct assessments to support eligibility and tailor instruction
- Partner with families, general educators, and service providers for holistic support
- Guide and mentor paraprofessionals; employ positive behavior and social-emotional strategies
