What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to a variety of learning needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction, adapting lessons and resources to support individual student success.
- Partner with general education staff, related service providers, and families to foster a cohesive approach to learning.
- Monitor student progress, track data, and maintain comprehensive records in accordance with program requirements.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing valuable input to multidisciplinary planning.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education or a closely related field.
- Valid Kansas Professional Teaching License.
- Appropriate Kansas Special Education certification or endorsement for designated grade level/population.
- Experience developing and managing IEPs, with strong adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
