Special Education Teacher | Montague, California

Desired qualifications:
- Holds valid Special Education Teacher credentials (California certification or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience (or strong training) working with mild to moderate student needs in school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Tech-savvy, with openness to virtual/online instruction if needed
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and supports for students within your caseload
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in alignment with district and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing parent communication
