Step into an impactful contract role supporting TK-6th grade students as an Education Specialist in Riverside, CA. This opportunity, beginning November 15th, is structured to cover approximately three months for a maternity leave—with a strong chance of extending through the end of the school year. You'll work 35 hours per week providing Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services to a manageable caseload of 27 students. Your expertise will directly support young learners and help pave their path for success.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Valid CTC Certification for Mild to Moderate Special Education
- Experience delivering specialized instruction to elementary students in an RSP setting
- Skills in developing and implementing IEPs, progress tracking, and collaboration with classroom teachers and families
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing diverse learning needs
Key responsibilities:
- Support the unique learning needs of students across transitional kindergarten through sixth grade
- Deliver individual and small-group instruction in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to foster student growth
- Maintain accurate student records, track progress, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Provide a positive, inclusive environment designed to help all students reach their potential
