This full-time role is based near New Britain, CT—a vibrant city with rich history, cultural charm, and easy proximity to the best of New England. As a travel Special Education Teacher, you’ll collaborate with professionals in Pathways programs (serving students with multiple disabilities), KEY autism programs, and inclusive classroom settings. Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong school-based background in special education (K-12 experience preferred)
- Valid and active SPED licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Experience with Pathways, KEY (Autism), inclusion, or similar programs
- Ability to provide professional references for credential verification
- Comfortable interviewing virtually via Zoom
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with special needs across various programs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to maximize student success
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with families and support services
