Qualifications:
- Valid CT licensure for Special Education & General Education Teaching Certification preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
- Knowledge of Special Education laws, regulations, and practices
- Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions

- Caseload: Elementary Functional & Social Emotional Behavioral classroom settings. More details discussed in an interview.
- Pay: $46+ Hourly (Competitive, dependent on experience and interview)
Position:
- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators. Teacher will provide specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inclusive education practices, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEP/ARD's for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service providers.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and promoting learning.
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies to facilitate student engagement and success.
