You’ll work on-site, managing a middle school special education caseload, and collaborating closely with school staff and families to foster academic and social growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active or pending Delaware certification in Special Education is required
- Experience working with middle school-aged students is highly valued
- Spanish language skills are a plus, though not required
- Commitment to work on-site throughout the assignment
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction in compliance with IEP goals
- Maintain records, assessments, and documentation according to state and federal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop educational plans tailored to student needs
