Special Education Teacher - New Oxford, Pennsylvania

Qualifications:
- Current and valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate (required)
- Experience working in special education or with students on the autism spectrum preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP implementation and modification of curriculum
- High level of patience, empathy, and adaptability to varying student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction within Autistic Support classrooms
- Collaborate with PCA support to provide individualized care and learning adaptations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Cultivate a safe, compassionate, and structured classroom environment
- Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
