Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working in early childhood or Pre-K preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and differentiated instruction
- Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and classroom dynamics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction for a morning class of 11 students and afternoon class of 9 students—with rolling enrollment
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for five or more students
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports all levels of development
- Collaborate with support staff and families to maximize student success
- Maintain consistent routines, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ensure a smooth transition for the regular teacher before and after maternity leave (Nov 12 – Feb 25)
