As the dedicated SPED Teacher for this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction using evidence-based practices, with a strong focus on DTT and life skills.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique strengths and areas of need.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure an inclusive learning experience.
- Use data-driven approaches to track progress, adjust instructional strategies, and communicate results with families and support teams.
- Foster a nurturing, positive classroom atmosphere that celebrates diversity and encourages skill development and independence.
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines for special education programming.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience or strong interest in providing instruction to students with high needs, including those requiring DTT and life skills coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to create adaptive lesson plans and foster positive student relationships.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
