Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, particularly those benefiting from DTT and life skills programs
- Dedication to individualized instruction and supportive classroom management
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families
- Flexibility, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young children
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that incorporate DTT techniques and functional life skills
- Assess student progress regularly to inform instructional adjustments and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support and successful outcomes for each student
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation
