- Valid and active California Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teaching credential required

- Passion for working with preschool-aged children with diverse needs
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and support staff
- Must be able to commit full-time, 35-37.5 hours per week, through end of school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a PreK caseload
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth, learning, and independence
- Use evidence-based practices for instruction, assessment, and behavior management
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies
- Adapt materials and teaching techniques to accommodate each learner’s unique abilities
