Special Education Teacher | Olathe, Colorado

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education License, or eligibility through reciprocity
- Preferred experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of IDEA and current special education regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain compliance records and participate effectively in team meetings
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs
- Implement and continuously monitor IEP goals for each assigned student
- Deliver services primarily in resource and/or inclusion settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Collaborate with parents, service providers, and district staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in student evaluations and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
The caseload will consist of elementary students requiring mild/moderate special education services; specific details will be confirmed upon district finalization. The role is primarily onsite, with potential flexibility for hybrid candidates.
