What we’re seeking:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience in designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong virtual classroom management and technology skills
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and adaptive instructional techniques
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with families, staff, and service providers
- Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging online classroom atmosphere
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans based on student IEPs to meet each learner's unique needs
- Deliver engaging instruction through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and participation
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain detailed records and provide regular progress reports
- Participate in virtual staff meetings and ongoing professional development
