Special Education Teacher - Pillager, Minnesota
A dynamic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a Middle School ASD Level III program on a full-time contract basis. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required.
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage IEPs and oversee case management for students.
- Demonstrated skill in tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, individualized instruction to middle school students enrolled in the ASD Level III program.
- Facilitate and manage all aspects of student IEPs, including regular documentation, progress monitoring, and communication with families.
- Develop engaging learning activities that accommodate varying needs and abilities.
- Partner with building staff and related service providers to ensure whole-child supports and effective programming.
- Serve as a long-term substitute, providing consistency and reliability for students and colleagues.
