Desired Experience & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Previous work experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learning abilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining a caring and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students identified with special needs
- Create, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, aides, and specialists
- Conduct regular meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student growth
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in special education
