Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Previous experience working with elementary-grade students, especially third grade, is a plus
- Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
- Passion for individualized instruction and student advocacy
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a long-term substitute Special Education Teacher for a third-grade class
- Plan and implement personalized lessons and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm; one school assignment
