Qualifications:
- Valid California Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) or Moderate to Severe Special Education credential (CTC screenshot required with application)
- Experience supporting students in special education, particularly in early childhood or primary grades
- Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching strategies
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for TK-1 students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Employ evidence-based strategies to support student learning and inclusion
- Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all state and federal regulations
