Exciting opportunities await skilled Special Education Teachers to support an Elementary School Needs (ESN) caseload for 4th through 6th grades. This contract position, based near Richmond, CA, offers immediate start through the end of the school year, with a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week. There are four positions available, tailored for educators passionate about creating inclusive and impactful learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California ESN or Moderate/Severe teaching credential (required)
- Recent, relevant experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
- Comfortable delivering differentiated instruction and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education teachers, related services providers, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt plans as student needs evolve
- Willingness to provide a screenshot of your current CTC credential status
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in 4th to 6th grades within the ESN program
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor progress toward students’ academic and behavioral goals
- Communicate effectively with parents and support teams
- Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that nurtures growth and achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing assessments and program reviews
